Cricket's Story...
Hello, I am Crickett. I am a dignified, though sometimes silly, Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix. I am a lovely older dog who needs a great home. I miss my family but I just couldn't play nice with my mommie's three year old son. I tried to play with him but ended up growling and nipping because he was just too much for me. I like older kids, I'm great with cats and good with most other dogs. I just don't like someone, two legged or four legged, getting into my face. I am housetrained, a good watch dog and I will play with you. I love going places in the car or on a leash. Are you looking for a dog to take on long walks, leisurely strolls around the blocks or to the park? Don't pass me up because of my age - I am in great shape and have the vet exams to prove it. I will live another 6-7 years and those could be the best years of your life and mine! Play bows and kisses, Yours Forever, Crickett

Medium Energy, Meduum Need, Good with older kids, cats and most dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cricket, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
