Scooby's Story...
Howdy ho neighbor! My name is Scooby and I am one year old Border Terrier / Doxy mix who is smart, sweet and lots of fun. I am a really nice little boy and I love to snuggle. The world is still a bit scary to me but I am warming up super fast so I will be an outgoing adventurous guy in no time. Just because I am still a little nervous I would love a family with kids over 10.
I am not nippy or anything just a little shy and looking for someone to love me and care for me and let me grow into the special boy that I can be!
I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.
My adoption fee is $220

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooby, a Portland Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
