Adopting a friend
All our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed and tested for feline leukemia. The adoption fee varies from $90 to $200. Applicants wanting to adopt a cat or kitten will need to fill out a screening application.

Purrfect Pets is a nonprofit humane cat rescue and adoption agency, dedicated to helping orphaned cats throughout the greater Kansas City area. We rescue hundreds of cats every year from shelters and the general public.
Elaine K. Doran, a life-long animal advocate, founded Purrfect Pets in 2003. Her belief is every cat has the right to a caring, safe and permanent home. Cats are placed into foster homes and go to the adoption center located at Metcalf South Shopping Center. Here, people can visit with the cats in a bright, fun and upbeat environment. Several get acquainted rooms are available so one can get to know that special friend.

First, an application needs to be filled out and approved. All family members must meet the cat before adoption. A contract is signed upon approval and adoption. Fees range from $90-$200 depending on the pet, usually $120.
