Brownie's Story...
Brownie is a 4 year old, purebred, neutered male, chocolate Labrador retriever. He is a very handsome boy with a deep rich chocolate color and perfect Lab look. He is great with other dogs, ignores cats, and he just loves people. This is what his foster home says about sweet Brownie -

"Brownie knows his basic commands and is SO SUPER SWEET! He loves to play with our two dogs, and they have been having a blast. We have two cats, and he just ignores them. He is housetrained, and scratches at the door when he wants to go out. He loves attention, affection and is very calm. Who ever adopts this sweet boy is going to be very lucky!"

If you would like to meet/adopt Brownie, please fill out our online application at www.utahlabrescue.com. A volunteer will then contact you back shortly, thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a Provo Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Provo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Provo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Provo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Provo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Provo paves the way for another one to be saved.
