Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Have you ever doubted that there is such a thing as a "perfect puppy"? Well, Scout will change your mind! He walks perfectly on a leash, walks well without one as well by staying very close and responding to his name. He loves treats but doesnt need them to be focussed on you because he loves people and is very eager to please. He is about 98% house trained, this means that he is still a puppy and has had a potty accident since he has been in his foster home, but he hung his head and felt terrible about it. He just wants to be a good boy! Currently he is in the most amazing foster home and will be until he travels for his forever family. With his foster family he is learning all the ropes of being a good puppy. He really enjoys car rides and jumps into a vehichle without issue. He likes to have a blanket to cuddle into along the way. He loves children (very calm and low energy with them). In his foster home, he is socialized daily with their chickens, geese, cats and other dogs! He does amazing! This sweet pup is just an all around great boy, who is waiting and ready to be someones life long best friend! Scout is just as loyal as they come, he has an old soul with sparkling eyes and learns so quickly. Right now he is about 5 months old and on 3/9/18 he weighed 23lbs. This puppy is spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are an MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
