My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookies is an unbelieveable cat! She LOVES to play in the kitchen sink and really enjoys getting all wet and rolling and playing in the water! There's a video on the web about a cat playing with water in the kitchen sink. Well, as funny as it is, Cookies is even funnier!! She's histerical and you will laugh yourself silly!!

Please consider adopting an adult cat. Adult cats are calmer, better behaved and cause less damage to furniture, drapes, ect. They have developed personalities-no surprises here. Adult cats are physically mature, which means, what you see is what you get. Also, you will feel good knowing that you gave an adult cat a second chance. Remember, every adult cat was once some one’s beautiful little kitten!
The foster mom also says that Cookie is like a cat-dog. She follows her everywhere and wants to be petted and wants attention. She s a real love; if only she'd like going to Petco a little more. LOL!!!
Cookie is an adult female Tortie. She was dumped and left behind abakery in Awoonsocket and when we got her, within 1 hours she delivered 5 kittens.
Cookie hates being at Petco and she doesn't show well. However, at her foster home, she's wonderful! The foster Mom can not undersdtand why she hates being in a cage at Petco.
She's completely vetted, been tested, spayed, had all of her shots, she has no worms, no fleas or ear mites either. All she does need is a "Forever Home" this time.

She's a young girl, between 1 and 2 years of age. She really is a nice girl, all she needs is a home and not to go to Petco! LOL!
The volunteers, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens, that we help facilitate finding the new 'forever homes', and work very hard to make sure they are healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only Royal Canin cat food. An application can be obtained, as well as our pet list, at www.catadoptionri.org.
We are at the Providence Petco, located at 585 N. Main Street, Providence, RI every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm and you are welcome to come by and meet and greet all of the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their finding their new 'forever homes'.
The adoption donation is $150.00 each after an approved application. This is not a sale, but an adoption donation. The adoption policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be adopted out spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all ages appropriate shots. There will not be any adoption of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us, and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!
