My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little girl is a GEM… a TRUE GEM!!! I went to the shelter on Friday just to visit her!!!! She is at the TOP of the URGENT LIST! She has been there over a month!!! But, when I showed up at the shelter, I was told that she had some difficulties after her spaying on Thursday. She was bleeding on Friday morning so the ACO took her back to the vet. They checked her out and wrapped her up as you can see in the pictures. She was bleeding slightly but they wanted to be sure it didn’t get infected. I was leary to get her out of her kennel…I was afraid she would get too excited. But, the ACO said it would be fine for a few minutes. So, we went for it! She is just so sweet… ALL BOXER!!! She has the disposition of the boxer through and through. She’s a lover!!!! She weighs in at 39 pounds so she’s a smaller size boxer. This is probably the boston terrier mixed in. I really enjoyed my time with her even though it was cut short. This girl deserves a GREAT home! I don’t know why she hasn’t been snatched up. She was brought to the shelter as a stray, she was found wandering the streets in Shelbyville!!! How could someone let this girl go?? I don’t know!!! She was tested for heartworms and was negative and will be getting her rabies shot before she goes to her FUREVER home!!!! Please give this girl a chance!!!! She deserves it!!!! Please call the shelter ASAP if you can help her!!!!!!
