Tambo's Info...

Tambo's Story...
Tambo's estmated DOB is 3/5/06.

Togar (already adopted) and Tambo are two brothers who were originally rescued from a Philadelphia shelter as kittens. They were adopted together into a good home. Sadly, the couple who adopted them had a son with a very serious medical condition. If their son was ever accidentally scratched, he could die. They were told by the doctors that they would have to give up Togar and Tambo.

The family was very upset but we assured them we would find them another good home. According to his family, Tambo is a cuddlebug, but is more of a loner than Togar. He likes attention on his terms and will come to you when he needs a snuggle. He also loves to "nurse" on pilly blankets (like an old baby blanket with the silk on the edges.) Tambo is very playful and chases imaginary objects around the house at times...WARNING...this craftily fellow is capable of sliding windows that are left unlocked, so be sure the screens are in place or windows are securely locked.

(In order to raise money for the little boy Luca's medical care, there will be a Beef and Beer - March 7th at 6:30-10:30, Neumann College Gymnasium in Aston, PA. Information please contact Donna 610-566-7761.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tambo, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
