Candy's Story...
Hi, I’m Candy. A sweet, little border collie/shepherd mix. I was born on May 28, 2008. In my former home the others dogs ate all the food, so I was really thin when my foster mom took me in. But with food, time and lots of tender loving care, I have filled out quite nicely. I am a little shy but very friendly once I get to know you. My foster family is teaching me some basic commands. I am housebroken and kennel trained. And I love to play fetch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Candy, a Sheboygan Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Sheboygan, or seeking a Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sheboygan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheboygan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheboygan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheboygan paves the way for another one to be saved.
