Apollo's Story...
Apollo is an adorable 8 week old pup. He came to us through our spay/neuter program so we were able to meet his parents. Apollo's mom is a 1/2 lab,1/2 pit bull (weighing in at 45 pounds) and his dad is a full chocolate lab (weighing in at 75 pounds). Apollo, we think he'll range between 50 and 65 pounds when he's full grown. Personality wise, Apollo adores people and has a constantly wagging tail. Although he's technically the runt of the bunch he's absolutely fearless-nothing fazes him and he's very social. He will have a moderate energy level and is a quick learner (crate training is going great!). Apollo has been socialized with kids, cats, and other dogs.

Apollo will be adopted on a neuter contract (when he's a bit older he will be neutered by our veterinarian at our expense). He's had his first set of vaccines, was treated for fleas and parasites, and will go to his new home with his collar, lead, a bag of his food, and his favorite treats and toys. His adoption fee is $185. If you are interested in adopting Apollo please email for an application. Once the application has been completed you will be able to arrange a time to meet Apollo.

Please understand we do everything in our power to keep our adoptable pet list updated. We are not able to place holds on dogs and, once an application has been completed and approved, that applicant has the first opportunity to meet and decide if they'd like to adopt Apollo. Until the application is received we are unable to arrange a meeting. Please realize that approval is at Animal Angel Rescue's discretion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apollo, a Vancouver Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
