My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

S/F, 1 year, Chihuahua, 4 lbs

Hi, my name is Ouiji (pronounced Wee-Gee). Pretty cute, huh....just
like me! I am a shy little girl who was found outside the home of a
very nice person who brought me to MaxFund. I am so happy someone
found me because I am such a tiny little girl. When I first came to
MaxFund, I was so afraid of everyone that I would just hide in my
cage. Now after being held and cared for by these great volunteers and
staff members, I love to see them and wag my little tail so hard that
it feels like it will fly off!! They make me feel very loved and less
nervous around other people.

My dream above all else would be to lie in someone's lap and cuddle
all day long. In return I would give lots of doggie kisses. I would
prefer to live in a home that has a calm environment filled with lots
of love. Not much is known about me since I came in as a stray and no
one here knows "Chihuahua" language....so I can't tell the volunteers
or staff whether I like kids or cats. I will tell you this much...the
dogs here in the small dog room are a little too noisy for my taste.
Sometimes, the dogs here bother me when I see them face to face, so I
think it may work out best if I were to be the only dog in the house.
Of course, then I could be spoiled rotten!!!!

Please come to visit me and if we are a good fit, I could go with you
to my forever home. I am still a little shy, so please use soft tones
when talking to me and I will use soft barks when responding to you
(heh, heh). Can't wait to meet you!

I'm also available for foster care! As a foster dog, all of my
medical needs would be covered by MaxFund. If you'd like more
information on becoming a foster family, please contact Donna at
fosters@maxfundvolunteers.org.
