Sylvie's Story...
Sylvie

13 month old Female Blue Cream Smoke Persian

This little doll is a living, breathing teddy bear! She comes to us from a home with 2 well behaved children that she adored. She was an only kitty and although she is adjusting to life with other kitties, she would much rather be the only one and voices her opinion on the matter frequently! She was given up by her family because of economic reasons, not because they didn’t love her. She was obviously very well loved and is a total cuddle bug! She was shaved recently and is growing out from a lion cut, her fur is extremely thick and matts easily so this is one kitty that will require daily combing. Please contact Jen at 707/301-6540 or email jennifer@purebredsplus.org to find out more about this little darling.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sylvie, a Davis Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Davis, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
