Kenny's Story...
Kenny is a very cute, 10-11 month old, 14 pound, Beagle mix who is a whole lot of dog in a little package! He's stubborn, hyper, and loves to push the boundaries. He is also very affectionate, playful, and intelligent. He's looking for a home without young children (he tends to guard his food) and possibly another dog to put him in his place and teach him a thing or two. He has lots of energy but once he's worn out, he's a lovely cuddle partner.

Kenny is in terrific health, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Adoption fee is $175.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenny, a Brooklyn Beagle/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Dachshund for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Beagle/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Dachshund breeders who help with Beagle/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
