Lilly's Story...
Hello, my name is Lilly. When I was just a puppy someone dropped me off at the pound. When I was 6 months old they said they were going to kill be because no one wanted me and they didn't have enough room for me. Paris Foundation Dog Rescue found me and took me right before they were going to kill me. I was then adopted into a family. I really liked them but in Dec my mom got laid off work and couldn't afford me anymore so she gave me back to Paris Foundation. I am in foster care right now, but I would love a family of my own again. I promise to be good and provide you with tons of love. I love to play and cuddle. I am housetrained and very smart. I know several commands and love to learn. Please give me a chance! Please email parisfoundation@yahoo.com if you are interested in me becoming part of your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Overland Park Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
