My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Remmington is around a year old and weighs in at about 47 lbs. He is such a very sweet boy that has so much love to give! BONUS: He's cat friendly! Remmington can be shy out in public with people, but is an absolute love bug at home. As soon as you sit on the couch, his head is plopped on your lap and his tail is wagging. If you stray too far, he always comes to check out what you're doing. He also does great with strangers (male and female) in the home, kids, dogs, and cats. He can be weary of loud noises and cars, but is growing more confident each day. He plays well with other dogs and is not toy or food aggressive. He is house and crate trained and working on basic obedience (check out his video!). He knows sit and down and is currently working on stay and drop it. He is very food motivated and easy to train. Additionally, he is working on leash manners and though he still has more work to do, he has improved immensely in just a short period of time. He has a fair amount of energy, but once he goes for a walk or romp in the yard, he naps quietly inside for hours. He is a sweet, loving dog that will bond quickly and deeply with his owner or owners and make a wonderful, lifetime companion.

This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury, CT on Friday, August 17th from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at PetSmart in Meriden, CT on Saturday, August 18th from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be at Black Hog Brewery in Oxford on Sunday August 19th from 11-1pm for an adoption event. Then join us for our Annual Reunion at Black Hog Brewery from 1-4pm! PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
