There is so much to love about Jake! His nickname is "bubby" and he knows it. If you "baby-talk" to him, he talks right back to you and even tries to say things like " I love you" and "momma!". If that isn't just precious as can be then here is even more that makes this fella special and sweet. He loves having a pillow that he can snuggle, in his whole life (of about 10 years) he has probably had about 8 pillows. They are his babies and he takes good care of them, takes them everywhere with him -much like a childs teddy bear or a security blanket. In other words.. Jake is just one big cuddly sweet baby. He is house trained, leash trained, comes to his name and to clapping of hands. He may weigh about 70lbs but he is just a little chunky is all. He looooves to cuddle and sleep with his head in your lap, he doesnt just want you to love on him, he wants you to know he is here for you and loves you too! He is a born true companion. Jake enjoys car rides and short walks, if he walks to far he may begin limp a little due to his "older" age. Jake doesn't just like people, he is very social with other friendly dogs and enjoys the company of older kids and cats. Jake is estimated to be 10 years young, and weighs an approximate chubby 70lbs. Whats not to love? He is just waiting for someone to love, maybe you having been waiting for him too! The adoption fee is normally $375. As part of the Pittie-Palooza, you can choose your Adoption Donation (minimum of $260). This includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee (if applicable). This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
