Dodger von Dillenburg's Story...
Dodger von Dillenburg is a very handsome 16 month old classic German Shepherd. Dodger is a good sized boy although he could use to gain about 15 pounds to look his best. We discovered that he LOVES to play ball and will run to get it, brings it back, drops it in front of you and waits for you to throw it! He's quite adorable. He's also a lover and enjoys the company of humans. We're not sure how this hunk ended up at the shelter but we promised him his next home will be his forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dodger von Dillenburg, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
