Millie's Story...
This happy girl is Millie! She was turned in by her owner who is in the service and had no one to take care of her while he is away. Millie is heartworm negative, leash trained, and house broken. She is about 2 years old and loves to lay in your lap for a nice rub. Since Millie has such a good temperament you would think it would be easy to find her a home but unfortunately that is not true. Bulldog fighting and stealing is so common in our area that it is hard to adopt out a Bulldog of any kind. Millie truly deserves a loving home to go to so she can set a good example for the rest of her breed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Bainbridge Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bainbridge, or seeking a Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bainbridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bainbridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bainbridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bainbridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
