Harmony's Story...
Harmony is a gorgeous petite mixed breed who was terrified and cowering in the corner of her cage at a local shelter. She is coming around nicely in her foster home and is just desperate to be loved. She can be fearful and panics at times, and is looking for a very special calm adult-only household that will give her time to adjust and help build her confidence. She is gentle and quiet and seems to especially like smaller calm dogs. Please submit an application if you are interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harmony, a Oak Ridge German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky for sale in Oak Ridge, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Oak Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
