Hi Everyone!
My name is Bernie (Mom says it’s Bernie the Best!) and I am a Bichon boy of about 3 years old who weighs 16 pounds. I am sweet, smart, talented (more about that in a minute) and I just love everyone -- or at least all the people and dogs that I have met so far!
I love to wag my tail (Mom says think of a windshield wiper on high speed ‘cause that’s how I show how happy I am!) and make new friends. And “Catch me if you can” is my favorite game! I like to play it with my foster brother—especially when he has a toy in his mouth because oh boy! is it fun to chase him!
Mom says I'm the perfect blend of fun and mellow! I just love to snuggle with people or my foster Bichon brother - and I'll do anything to please you.! I've also already mastered the "sit" and "shake paw" because I'm so darn smart! I'm working on being completely housebroken and mom says I’m just about ‘there.
Dad says I love to look outside and will run from window to window to watch what goes on in the world. There are so many fascinating people and things that happen and I like to take them all in. He says I mind very well, like to learn new things and am very trainable. In fact
Mom and Dad taught me to stand on my back legs and dance around. I like to show that trick to everyone I can because it always makes people smile!
I can't wait to go to my forever home where I can love and be loved! Mom says I'll be wonderful in any home though I'd probably like to have a doggy brother or sister if I could. I’m a friendly, loving and very sweet boy. So if you like to watch a dancing Bichon and want a little guy who loves to learn new tricks and is eager to please, ask for me!
