Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there (wag ,wag ,wag)! I’m so happy to meet you (wag, wag). My name is Hardy, and I am one happy boy. I look like I am part coonhound, or basset, but I’m 100% friendly like a beagle. I have been enjoying my days in my foster home, but I’m ready to find my forever family. Are you my forever family (wag, wag, wag)???
Let me tell you a little more about me. First, I’ve never met a dog, or a human, that I didn’t like, my tail only stops wagging when I am asleep and I really really love food. When foster mom gets my bowl out I go flying through the air. She says I’m a really good jumper. Next, I love walks. I’m pretty good on a leash, but I do keep my nose to the ground the whole time. I can’t afford to miss any good smells. I know it sounds like I have a lot of energy, but after I’ve had food and a walk I love to find a cushy spot on the couch to watch TV. I like to lay my head on a human lap, or on my foster sister. I’m quite the cuddler.
One last thing, I came from a shelter in Ohio, and when BREW took me in they discovered that I had heartworms. I had heartworm treatments, and then I had to rest for a really long time. I’m all better now, but foster mom says it is really important that I get my medicine every month. Let’s not dwell on that though…I have to get back to wagging my tail!
