My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boomer is a very sweet and silly beagle boy and falls into the medium-high energy category. As long as he has an outlet for this energy, he seems to be comfortable with settling down and just enjoying some time on the couch too. He likes to run around the house at full speed and play with his foster sister and seems to get along best with dogs that are about his size (beagles) or smaller. He is fairly well-behaved for a beagle his age, but would blossom with some obedience training. Boomer is also housebroken, but still has an occasional accident when he gets too distracted in the yard and neglects to do his business. Boomer also has a bit of separation anxiety, which generally manifests itself in him squeaking and howling for about 10 minutes after one of his humans leave. He is getting better as his confidence seems to build, but he gets very attached to the people he’s living with. He loves people a lot, friends and strangers alike, and wants to be with them all the time. He does ok in a crate at night, as long as he can see you, but it is best for him to not be crated during the day because it seems to add to his anxiety. Though he may need a little work in the confidence department, Boomer is a really fun beagle who will win you over with his big, soft ears and gentle demeanor.
