My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Louise – female, spayed, vaccinate, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested, 4yrs, 76lbs, Golden Ret./Newfoundland mix.

Rescued from death at a high kill pound. Louise ended up in the pound when her owner was diagnosed with cancer and sadly had no where else for her to go.

Louise is timid and shy in new situations and with new people. She often shies away and prefers to approach on her own terms. When she warms up and is comfortable in her surroundings she is a HUGE cuddle bug, she can’t get enough hugs and attention. She has a very calm, sweet disposition and would be great for a mature house hold looking for a nice calm pet. She does have energy and enjoys a good walk; she gets along well with other dogs, cats and older children. She is an absolute pleasure to have around. She is so well mannered, crate trained and refreshing her house training after being in the shelter. She likely does not need to be crated when left alone. Louise would like a quite home with a patient, loving family. She is best suited to a house with a fenced yard.
