Finney's Story...
I’m a cute little fellow named Finney. I think maybe someone thought my name should be funny, because when I romp and dance while out on the leash, the volunteers seem to laugh and think I’m quite the character. I’m a shepherd or maybe golden mix with medium-length hair that loves to receive pets. You can pet my very cute stand-up ears, my adorable face, or any and all of my furry body. Yes, I do like me some pets. The vets estimate I’m 2 years old now, but I’ve got the demeanor of a playful puppy. I love to romp and act really silly. I love the way it brings a smile to each person’s face to see me just being me. I enjoy running and playing. If you chase me, I’ll probably let you catch me – an opportunity for more of those fantastic pets. So if you are a petter extraordinaire – or if you’re looking for a petting practice partner that will help you become a bone-a-fide petting PhD, come and see me, Finney.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finney, a Aldie German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Aldie, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
