Tiki's Story...
Tiki came to us from a loving home but unfortunately his owner was unable to continue caring for him.

Tiki is an adventurous boy that is interested in his surroundings and likes to make friends with everyone. He is an affectionate and playful little dog that would do well in any family environment. He is great with other dogs, does well with cats and would do well with children of all ages.

Tiki weighs approximately 12 - 15 lbs but is a sturdy boy that enjoys going for walks and exploring his environment. He is a great little guard dog but not yappy. He is a good size for apartment living but would enjoy having a backyard to romp around in and kids that would enjoy playing with him.

Tiki is paper-trained but was originally trained to go outside and actually prefers this.

Tiki has a great personality, is friendly with everyone and would do well in any home environment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiki, a Hamilton Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pomeranian for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pomeranian breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
