My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam, or Sammy Kisses, checked into Camp Chaos and we are so happy to have him here! He came to us after being found in a dog trap in a rural area and being taken to animal control. He is a wonderful indoor companion, enjoying sitting for treats, tummy rubs, and being chewed on by his foster puppy brother.

Sam likes to spend time in the fenced-in yard with his pup pals, watching & talking to the birds and squirrels.

He is about 3 years old and in great condition with the exception of a faint heartworm positive test. Our vet advised we can give Heart Guard for 1 year for treatment since with faint positives typically test negative after a year on Heart Guard. Sam's adoptive family will be given the remainder of the 1-year supply with his adoption. If he tests heartworm positive following 1 year of Heart Guard, Camp Chaos will pay for Sam to undergo [arsenic] heartworm treatment.

Sam has a beautiful fluffy black coat with lots of brown and chestnut and there is a little cream fur on his paws. His tail was docked or is just short, but the important thing is it wags constantly.

Sam is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and flea/tick preventatives. He is taking Heart Guard monthly. He is great with our pack of dogs, as well as being great with people!

His adoption fee is $150. All of the Camp Chaos dogs are indoor dogs with outdoor privileges. Please email us at CaptainChaos@campchaos37206.org for an application or if you have any questions.

Thank you for wanting to share your home with one of our rescued pups!
