My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We think Melody is a full-blooded Xoloitzcuintli (pronounced - Show-low-its-queen-tli). Melody is the coated variety of this breed and standard size weighing is at 40lbs. With this breed, there's usually one puppy per litter of 5 that has a coat while the rest of the puppies are hairless. Melody and her two adorable pups were dumped in a culvert way out in the middle of nowhere - fortunately someone saw them & called us. Melody is a wonderful, sensitive and loving people oriented dog - a little shy until she gets to know you. She gets along great and loves to play with other dogs. She is very active and loves to run & play chase. This breed of dogs is extremely sensitive to cold - so whoever adopts her needs to make sure she stays warm in the winter. Melody is very eager to please and could be easily house trained. Melody has tested positive for heartworms and will need heartworm treatment. Thanks to Kim Tompkins of Houston, TX, we will be able to treat Melody's heartworms before she is adopted. Melody is spayed and current on her vaccinations. Melody's adoption fee is $90.00. Please contact us if you would like to meet Melody.
