Hi everyone! My name is Frankie and I’m a 5 year old English Bulldog. Although no one can say for sure because I was rescued from a puppymill – you know, the kind of place that supplies pet stores with their cute window display puppies? At the mill I spent my days in a cage only to have litter after litter of puppies. I have bad cysts on my back paw and a skin condition that has caused my hair to fall out in places. But I’m on medicine now and hope to be right as rain in no time! I have not been spayed yet but you can bet I will be before I go to my new home. I’m done having all those puppies! I am heartworm free and working on getting up to date and healthy!

Coming into a real home out of a puppy mill has been a challenge for me but I am working really hard at being a normal, happy bully! I still have some issues I need to work on; I don’t really like to be in my crate anymore, I’ve had a taste of freedom and it’s for me! I tend to cry and bark in my crate. On the other hand I love to go outside. There are so many new things to explore! I am very good walking on my leash, but they keep talking about housebreaking and having to do my business outside but I don’t get it! I like grass but I’m not sure of the concept of going “potty” on it. I think I am going to need a lot of help with that one.

I also have a bully foster brother I am living with and I have to tell you, boy do I love him! We play out in the yard, go for walks and nap together. I also have some foster cats that live here too. I am pretty much ignoring them for now, never having seen them before. I don’t chase them. I’m too smart for that! I love to eat my dinner and I have discovered treats are my favorite things next to petting and cuddling with my foster parents.

I am a sweet, gentle girl who just likes hanging around and being loved as a bulldog should be! Kids would be ok, as long as they are older, like over 6.

Love,

Frankie
