Carter is just the sweetest boy! He gets along great with all others and loves every human he meets. Carter enjoys going on new adventures and making new friends. He does great on car rides and on lead. He loves playing outside, throwing some toys around, and going for walks. Carter is such a friendly and socially sweet boy that is going to make such an amazing family companion and the bestest best friend!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! This weekend CPR will be participating in Petco’s National Pet Adoption Weekend and will be at Petco in Southington (760 Queen St, Southington, CT) on Friday, July 6th from 2pm-6pm; Saturday, July 7th from 10am-2pm; and Sunday, July 8th from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
The adoption fee is normally $425. As part of the PITTIE-PALOOZA, you can choose your Adoption Donation (minimum of $260). This includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested positive for heartworms and has been treated.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
