Skyla's Story...
This cute, petite girl is Skyla. She's a friendly, easy going girl who loves to hang out with people. Even though Skyla has come through a rough patch in her life which left her without her ears, she enjoys having her back scratched, and still has a super sweet personality. Skyla knows the command for "sit" and loves to get treats for a job well done. She walks well on leash, and would be thrilled to accompany you on lots of walks. Can you show Skyla just how great a dog's life can be? For more info, please call Katie at 619-788-7880.

If you would like to meet Skyla, please go to the South County Animal Shelter in Bonita today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skyla, a San Diego Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
