Leo's Story...
Leo is a handsome, 1 1/2 year old, neutered male, short hair Tuxedo cat. He is currently in a foster home but looking for a permanent home and family to love. He is super sweet and very friendly and purrs the moment he sees you. He loves to be petted and rubbed on his belly and will curl up on the bed with you at night. He is very playful and loves to play with laser or string toys. He is neutered, litter box trained, dewormed, up-to-date on vaccines and flea medications, microchipped and tested negative for FeLV. Once you meet him, you won't want to go home without him!! Adoption fee is $50, which includes microchip registration, 5 days worth of food, and his favorite laser pointer so that you can start playing with him right away!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Davis Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Davis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
