Sparky is a sweet, social boy looking for a new BFF or family to call his own! This handsome fellow is the total package. He is great with other dogs, cat friendly, loves children, potty trained, good on a leash....he is ready to join a household and make everyone's days brighter with his sweet face and sunshiney disposition. When he isn't busy being the best dog ever he likes to go for hikes, play ball, and chill on the couch. Sparky is around 2 years old and weighs 52lbs.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury, CT on Friday, June 8th from 2pm – 6pm. Then, CPR will be at the 4th Annual Catherine’s Butterfly Party, Fairfield Hills Campus, 3 Primrose St, Newtown, CT on Saturday, June 9th from 12pm – 4pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting an Open House at their adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury, CT on Sunday, June 10th from 10am – 1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
