Milton's Story...
What a face! What ears! Everyone says I'm adorable & who am I to disagree? I've got American Staffordshire Terrier cuteness to spare. The volunteers named me Milton because they didn't know my real name. All they know is that someone threw me away to die. I'm just a baby at 5-6 months old & am yearning for a family. Bet you can see the longing in my eyes. I wish I had toys, a soft bed, but mostly I wish I had a special person to call my own. I'm such a sweet boy. I've got wiggles for all people & love to play. Everything about me is gentle & fun loving. I'm healthy, neutered, vaccinated & heartworm tested. I'd be your best friend if you contact pals@psknet.com for an adoption application. Or, submit an application on-line at www.radfordpoundpals.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milton, a Radford American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Radford, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Radford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Radford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Radford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Radford paves the way for another one to be saved.
