Mia's Story...
Hi! I’m Mia….and boy am I glad to be here at AniMeals. You see, at my old home I got picked on all the time by the other cats, I usually get along fine with others but these guys didn’t like me very much. I would have to find a hiding spot and I couldn’t come out for hours or I would get beat up. My owner felt so bad for me and she could see I wasn’t very happy so she brought me here. I like that I don’t have to be scared anymore but I miss having a place to call home. I really like to snuggle and watch T.V. or sit on a window sill and look outside and I can’t do that stuff without a home! I have survived a lot of bad things in my life and I haven’t lost hope of one day being happy….could you take me home with you and make me the happiest kitty in the world?? I will be so grateful and I’ll prove it to you every day for the rest of my life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Missoula Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Missoula, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Missoula.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Missoula already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Missoula breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Missoula paves the way for another one to be saved.
