Maya's Story...
Hi, my name is Maya. I have been in and out of the “system” most of my life. I thought I had a warm place to call home but my owner decided she couldn't take care of me anymore when I was getting ready to have my babies. There were complications with my pregnancy and I got very sick and all my babies died. It was touch and go for awhile for me too. Now I am healthy and ready to go to a home. It has been a tough couple of years for me but it has not stopped my friendly disposition. I am a loving cat who wants a home. I may be shy at first but will quickly become your best friend. When you come to AniMeals please feel free to come and visit me. I am a beautiful girl who deserves a happily ever after.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maya, a Missoula Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Missoula, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Missoula.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Missoula already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Missoula breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Missoula paves the way for another one to be saved.
