Foxy's Story...
Hello, my name is Ohura….I was brought to AniMeals because my owner was too sad to take care of me anymore. I hope it was nothing that I did, I thought I was a good girl but she left me alone in our apartment for weeks because she was trying to get better… until some nice people came and brought me to AniMeals. My life has never been happy, living with someone that is always sad is really hard. I am loyal, affectionate and sweet and I’m pretty scared right now because I don’t know what the future holds for me, will I ever have a home again? I think if the right person came along I could learn to love and trust again. I might be shy at first but give me a chance to warm up to you, come by my kitty condo and visit me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Foxy, a Missoula Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Missoula, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Missoula.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Missoula already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Missoula breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Missoula paves the way for another one to be saved.
