Kiddo's Story...
N/M, 6 months, Boxer/Cattle dog mix, 30 lbs and growing

Hi good humans! My last family made an “impulse buy” when I was a very
small puppy and didn’t realize how little time and patience they had
to look after me!

I am easy going, active, friendly, mischievous, and playful. In fact,
a typical puppy! I get on with adults and children. I like most dogs
but, actually, I have not had much experience in getting to know many
other dogs. I have no experience with those things called “cats.”

My favorite toys are chew toys and tennis balls – I especially enjoy
playing fetch with the latter. I am not completely housetrained and my
last family were “paper training” me so I will need some patient
understanding and supervision in that area. I am an obedient and smart
young dog but I have not yet had any formal training. My new family
needs to be willing to take me to some positive reinforcement puppy
training classes to help me become the best adult canine citizen I can
be! Puppyhood is an important time for a young fellow like me and I
need kindness and understanding when, ahem, I mistake your shoe for a
chew toy. I may also try and help with the gardening by digging the
odd hole or two!

If you are looking for a great young pup to share in your adventures,
please come by to visit with me at MaxFund. I love visitors and I am
always ready to go for a walk – or a run!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiddo, a Denver Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Denver, or seeking a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
