Jackie's Info...

Jackie's Story...
Hey Jackie here! I am the cutest, sweetest little 5 year old rat terrier / jack russel mix. Well, maybe not so little. My last owners just left me in a crate all the time so I am a bit on the chunky side (ok lets just say it - I'm fat!) But I am still such a spunky guy with the sweetest temperament in the world and I LOVE to play with tennis balls as you can see!
I am house and crate trained (I am GREAT in my great) and I am perfect with other doggies and even kids!
I don't however like those pesky kitties so none of those pesky felines please!
I am a smart guy who will make a wonderful pet so let's get together and have a ball!! (get it - that's a fetch joke!!!)

I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.
My adoption fee is $180

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackie, a Portland Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
