My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sparty is a strikingly handsome fellow with a good demeanor and a great personality. He is around four to five years old and weighs 100 pounds. He loves to go for walks with his foster mom and is very good on leash. He has outstanding social skills and has done well in foster care with the other dogs (male, female, large, small) in the home and he is even cat friendly. If you want a hiking/ walking/ jogging partner that will be well behaved and attentive to your commands, this is your guy. He is pretty affectionate and loves attention. Sparty is also potty and crate trained.

Sparty is learning how to live with small humans and so far is adjusting well. Sparty has some allergy issues that went untreated for most of his life and caused some permanent hair loss on his belly but we are very pleased that we have found a monthly medication that controls his allergies quite well and we are hoping they will also be improved by his relocation out of the pollen vortex that is west TN. Sparty is very smart and extremely treat motivated so he learns very quickly and anticipates what you want from him. His foster mom thinks he is pretty much the best and has been very happy at the way he has interacted with the other animals in the home as well as human visitor.

Need a beach buddy? Hiking partner? Festival friend? Hammock napping side kick? The Dog Days of Summer are here!! Some of our most amazing but overlooked adult dogs have a special adoption fee of $300 for a short period of time, including ME!!! Apply now at cprdogs.com to get in on this promo before it ends. The adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee.

Sparty is still trying to adjust to the New England weather and without his beautiful fur to keep him warm, he has a hard time going to events. If you would like to meet this handsome fella please let your adoption coordinator know and they will be more then happy to set up a time with his foster mom!

This dog has tested positive for heartworms and has been treated.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
