Hi, I am Nate. My real name is Nathaniel but, every one calls me Nate. I was born in March 2007. That is what my vet said and he said I am a Buff Tabby breed. I have all my vaccinations and I had my surgery to be neutered. Before I was rescued along with my mother and siblings I lived under an air conditioner unit. I was always hungry because my mother was abandoned by her owner and she could not find food for us. But, one day these nice ladies came and rescued us. We have been patiently waiting for our forever loving homes. My sister Honey is always more frightened than me. She always stays close to me. I hope that we can always be together so she wonÂ’t be so afraid. I know we would like a home with no dogs and small children. We like it kind of quiet since we have had to run from dogs and children in our life before our rescue. Thank you for caring. Animals have been combo tested, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for worms, and have been spayed or neutered. Kittens too young to have been altered will be placed with a certificate for the spay/neuter (rabies will be extra).

Our adoption fees start at $85.00.  The first step in the application process is to complete an application. Once the application has been approved, you will be required to complete a contract to finalize the adoption. The contract stipulates that you must keep the cat/kitten indoors and may not declaw.

Please join C.A.T.S. representatives on Saturdays at the Hixson PetSmart on Route 153 from 12-5. We always bring a variety of cats and kittens for adoption. With each adoption, we offer a free 3.5-lb of kitten or 4-lb. bag of Hill's Science Diet cat food and a small sample bag of Iams' cat or kitten food, and a book of coupons. If available, each adoption will also come with a pillow, toy, or some other cat accessory.

If you would like to complete an application beforehand, please send an e-mail request to Betty at  We look forward to helping you find a permanent, furry addition to your family!
