Cona's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cona's Story...
Cona is a one year old handsome young male...does well with older children; respects cats...will run from them :-) He is in a foster home in Redding looking for his new home. Cona has a sister that is a beauty and needs to be resccued as she is still in the shelter...these siblings can be trasported to the Sacramento area for a serious adopter or visiting them on a spring day in Redding is fine also as the adoption donation reflects the gasoline to visit them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cona, a Sacramento Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
