Millie's Story...
Hello! My name is Millie. What's yours? I'm a Rottweiler mix, and I'm sweet as can be, if I say so myself! The shelter life is a little stressful for me, so I have my paws crossed that I can find my forever home as soon as possible! Is that your home?

I promise I'll save some room on the couch for you! My consultant says that I'm a wonderful walker, and I already know my basic commands. Perhaps if you come visit, I'll woo you with my talents... I like some other dogs too. I'm not sure about cats because I haven't really had a chance to meet one yet.

Please come visit me at the shelter! If you would like more information on me, please call my adoption consultant, Kristin, at 440-235-4603 or email her at kristin_kudla@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Berea Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Berea, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
