Tootsie's Story...
Tootsie is a beautiful sweetie pie! She is gentle and doesn't budge when you're holding her - so far anyway! She seems a little on the timid side, but is very cooperative - even when getting a bath! She has a tiny, little meow and a big ourr. We're still getting to know her, so stay tuned for update. She is about 11 months old (DOB ~ 4/1/08, arrived Camp Kitty 3/09). She was purchased from a breeder , but the owner didn't have time for her, so he asked us to find her a great home. Yours perhaps?
Tootsie is a high maintenance feline - seriously. She requires daily combing and eye wiping - and the occasional bath as well. This is a BIG commitment, so we're looking for an experienced Persian owner to become her new mom or dad. Sterilized and MICROCHIPPED. Adoption fee is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tootsie, a Brighton Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Brighton, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Brighton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brighton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brighton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brighton paves the way for another one to be saved.
