Riley's Story...
Meet Riley, a very cute 4-5 month old petite spayed female. She will be a small cat. She had a rough start. She was found under a trash can on a cold rainy November night and was sick for a long time. As a result, Riley has occasional sneezes but is not contagious to other cats or dogs. She may always be this way. She is a super sweet, loving, affectionate girl. She loves people and other cats and dogs. A home without young children would be best. Please give her a chance and she will be your best friend! Riley is vet checked, Felv/Fiv negative, has all kitten vaccinations, Rabies vaccination, she's dewormed and flea treated. Litterbox trained. Adoption fee is $75.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Newburgh Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
