Chopper von Carlsbad's Story...
Chopper von Carlsbad is a magnificent 4 year old long haired German Shepherd. Chopper has amazing confirmation and seemed to enjoy being admired and having his picture taken. Chopper suddenly lost his family when they lost their home. He seems well behaved and easy going. Depite being a very big guy, he is still easy to walk. He is very picky with the dogs he gets along with. We just got him so there will be more updates. One thing we know for sure, you can't get better looking than this!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chopper von Carlsbad, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
