Casey's Story...
Casey was born Dec 2, 2008. Their dad is a purebred Border Collie about 50 pounds and the mom is a littler, sweet 37 pound dog. A very nice man is getting the mom fixed/spayed and he asked that we adopt out Casey to a GREAT family! We prefer people with fenced yards but if you have a history of long term dog ownership without a fence, you will be considered. Casey is very affectionate and loving. The vet guess is that he may be in the 40-45 pound range when full grown. He is very sweet and gentle. He is in a foster home being exposed to other dogs, cats and people. He loves riding in the car and will be an awesome dog when he grows up. Casey loves playing with his toys, going for walks, sharing popcorn while watching TV and most of all - being cuddled and loved by his foster family. Casey is a gentle dog who loves everyone. He wears a belly band and continues to make progress on housebreaking. ADOPTION FEE $ 75

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casey, a Taylor Mill Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Taylor Mill, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Taylor Mill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Taylor Mill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Taylor Mill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Taylor Mill paves the way for another one to be saved.
