Diesel's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Diesel's Story...
Diesel is a beautiful brindle color. Gorgeous dog, I mean gorgeous. Stocky and maybe 45 pounds. Unfortunately, he is sitting in a pound in Colona, IL. We can't get him transported to Plainfield until we have a foster or adoptive home for him. He is great with other dogs. He has not been exposed to kids yet so we do not know but with his sweet personality, I wouldn't see any problems. He is good with cats but we do not place any of our bully breed dogs with cats or small critters. If you would like to foster or adopt Diesel please call Jill at 815-919-2587 or send an email to thedoglover@att.net He has a sponsor that has paid half of his adoption fee because they know he is a special boy. His adoption fee is only $75 and that will cover his neuter, microchip, vaccinations, fecal test and deworming. Please help us get Diesel out of the pound!!!

Diesel, a Plainfield American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
