Hope's Story...
Hi, my name is Hope. I am a female Golden Retriever Mix. I am somewhere around a year and a half old. I have been spade, micro-chipped, and UTD on my shots. I'm also on flea and tick medicine and heart worm medicine. I love to play. I have lots of energy for play time. I am very good at relaxing also. I know the difference between playtime and "chill out" time. Usually when my family is settled down, that's when I'm the calmest. I just love to be with the family, so I try really hard to be a good girl for them. But I'm always ready to play whenever you are. I have two kids that I live with now. They are lots of fun. They are very nice to me also. They let me sleep in their bed at night. I love that.

Sometimes my Foster Mom has to give me Benedryl to help with some allergies I have. Which makes me a little sleepier than normal. My foster Mom says that's not a bad thing. We are not sure if it's just seasonal allergies or from a reaction to the meds from surgery. So as soon as I start scratching, she's got the benedryl ready for me. I will need to be crated when you leave me alone. I get lonely and can get into some things when you leave. If you take the time to crate me, I will feel much more secure while you are away. I am a good girl when you are home with me and do not chew on things. Please E-mail or give my foster Mom a call. Adoption Donation $125.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hope, a mishawaka Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in mishawaka, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in mishawaka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in mishawaka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a mishawaka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in mishawaka paves the way for another one to be saved.
