Frosty's Story...
Hi my name is Frosty. I'm a beautiful white with a tan spot on the top of my head. I am about a 6 mo old (born around Aug. 2008) male cat. I was rescued by some people in Feb. They had been trying to catch me since Aug. when I was just a small kitten. But most people have not been kind to me so it was kind of difficult for me to trust anyone. But eventually they won me over. I'm still pretty shy but I know I can get over it with the right person or family. I'm happy just to be warm, safe & well fed. Please come to see me. I really would like my own family to love. Love Frosty

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frosty, a Bay City Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bay City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bay City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bay City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bay City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bay City paves the way for another one to be saved.
