Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buck is a sweet, calm and loving guy looking for his forever home. He knows how to use an ipad and is happy to Facetime with you after you've filled out your application so you can see just how cool this chill pup is! He is about 3 years old and weighs around 50 pounds. Buck is great with kids and he is also just fine with female dogs. While he has been fostered with females and males, he is fearful at times of male dogs and so would do best with either female dogs only or as an only pup, as he would be quite content to get all of the cuddles to himself. He is also good on a leash and would make a great walking buddy. Buck is so lucky to have been saved from certain death at a high kill shelter, and now he just needs a family of his own to chill out with. Is that yours? Apply today at www.cprdogs.com!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury, CT on Friday, August 31st from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at Petco in Southington, CT on Saturday, September 1st from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be back at Petco in Southington on Sunday September 2nd from 10-1pm for an adoption event. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested positive for heartworms and has been treated in our care.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.
After receipt of your application an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
